Terms of service, payment and cancellation at Ravitsemusklinikka 1/2016
1 Terms of payment
Client pays the booked appointment or nutrition package including all of it’s visits in full after the first consultation following the payment information of the invoice given to the client after the first meeting (term of payment 14 days). Client is invoiced by the sole trader (nutrition therapist) who performed the nutrition consultation.
A reminder fee of EUR 5 is charged from the client if the payment is delayed. If the debt collection needs to be transfered to the debt collection agency the client is charged also reasonable expenses arriving from the debt collection.
Nutrition consultations can also be payed, starting from April 3rd 2023, in advance before the first nutrition consultation with Epassi wellbeing benefit at the Epassi application. Wellbeing benefit can be used as payment according to the terms and conditions of Epassi wellbeing benefit. Receipt verying the payment shall be demonstrated at the first nutrition consultation. Payment is made to the sole trader (nutrition therapist) who performs the nutrition consultation.
2 Terms of cancellation
Client can cancel the booked appointment by e-mail or by phone to the performing nutrition therapist at least 48 hours before the beginning of the appoinment. With doctor’s certificate appointment can be canceled even later but always before the beginning of the booked consultation.
Cost of the booked but uncancelled appointment or of appointment that has been canceled after the terms declared above is the rate of the booked consultation in full and it shall be invoiced from the client by terms of payment. In case of follow-up meeting uncancelled follow-up meeting or follow-up meeting that has been canceled after the terms declared above doesn’t entitle to book a new compensatory consultation.
3 Terms of validity of nutrition package
The three (3) consultations of the Standard Package are valid for six (6) months after the first meeting. The five (5) consultations of the Nutrition Partner Package and 14 consultation of the Full year coaching are valid 12 months after the first meeting. If, from a reason derived from the client, the consultations are not carried out within the before mentioned time frame the consultations that are not carried out don’t entitle to any consultations at Ravitsemusklinikka after the before mentioned time frame. In this case neither Ravitsemusklinikka nor the sole trader (nutrition therapist performing the service) is not obliged to return money from the prepaid consultations that are left unfulfilled from a reason derived from the client.
An exception from the before mentioned terms of validity can be made only due to Ravitsemusklinikka or the sole trader (nutrition therapist performing the service) or when agreed seperately with the client. However, if the consultations would delay unreasonably beyond the before mentioned terms of validity due to Ravitsemusklinikka or the sole trader (nutrition therapist performing the service), can client be reimburst, if wished, for the unused, delaying consultations of the nutrition package (reimbursment is maximum 100% of the payed rate of the delayd consultation).
4 Incompetent person
Consultation can be booked only by an adult (at least 18 years of age) client. Legal guardian can book consultation on behalf of an underage person.
5 Freedom of responsibility
Neither Ravitsemusklinikka nor the sole trader (nutrition therapist performing the service) is responsible of any damage or harm occured to client derived either directly or indirectly from the service during the service or immediately after the service or after longer period of time after the service had been performed. Client purchases the service at her/his own risk. The service is not covered in patient insurance.
